As usual, the pizzas here are tasty and big enough to fill you up

We had pasta and pizza. The pasta was prepared with an average sauce and few side dishes. The pizza could do well with more toppings. That was our experience.

For an Italian, the pizza has to be tasty. And that would be even better with more topping.

Loveless sums it up. We had two half / half pizzas to take away. Both of them had a very uneven surface and mostly in two piles. Also, there was arugula on the wrong pizza. I also don't understand why the pizzas were cut into sixths. That makes huge pieces that are impossible to eat without cutlery. Otherwise .. delicious, very thin, but big and felt rather greasy. Without the flaws in the previous paragraph, it would be solid pizza. But for the high prices I expect more care and a little more attention to detail.

Thanks for the answer - but you can't do anything better. Food very good - conditions friendly and everything. 5 stars are only given for absolutely outstanding, unique and special restaurants.

Very good ambience and food! We were served very well by a Mr. Sorap. We had a nice evening and birthday despite Corona everything was wonderful! Thank you very much 😊

Staff was more attentive! No cheese got with the pasta. Soup was only lukewarm. Overall good. But it can be done better. Especially for the price you pay.

The Manza salad is world class. The sauce is a dream. Very charming and friendly waitresses. Very good dessert recommendation. Highly recommended, gladly again.

Such a great place, friendly service, good prices, but the best was my big, big, big pizza😍 the music was little bit loud, but the good thing was latin music so that was perfect for me 😅 Thank you, for sure I will go back soon.

Somehow it just tastes any way you like. But I don't expect more from a restaurant CHAIN. Very large pizzas - extremely thin. All in all, a normal sized pizza.

Pizza is nice and big, but the topping is limited. Mostly cheese and dough, which is not bad. Was just cheese-heavy, little Mediterranean taste. Still good.

I'm sorry I can only give one star here. We love L'Osteria, but we won't visit Darmstadt a second time! Apart from the fact that the waitresses almost all wore mouth and nose protection under their noses (I would not have mentioned that, the rest would have been correct), we ordered two half pizzas (and I had specifically said "two half pizzas on different plates") as a pizza on a plate, vegetarian and non-vegetarian together, which is absolutely not possible for my husband as a strict vegetarian. Upon the explanation, we were promised that his "half" would be completely redone, we could observe that in the kitchen there was only shaking of the head and that one pizza was divided and distributed on two plates. And that was then sold to us brazenly as freshly made pizza. And the icing on the cake was that bruschetta, ordered extra as a starter, came at the same time as the pizza!

I think the pizza is really delicious and its size is great. The additional spices / oils that you can use are a plus. However, it is too loud inside. Also because of the many guests and the bad room layout, but above all because of the music from the speakers. Staff is okay but mostly seems very stressed. Volume down and a waiter more on the shift would be a start.

The staff is really nice and fast. Pizza is good and really big. Only 4 stats because the music was way to loud.

Delicious! The pizza here is huge and very tasty. Nice and quick service. Several types of beer on tap. Everything was great!

I celebrated my birthday there even though I reserved the table they didn't take my reservation anyway thx for the service furthermore the prices quite well compared to resturants around a slight suggestion they could add stuff like steaks chicken parm and ravioli order was quite fast to be honest

Nice place with sick pizzas! They are just huge and good on top of that. The dishes are plentiful and the staff young but also very nice. It is advisable to go for a walk.

The food was delicious and the service was very friendly and nice. The only stupid thing was that it was so hot. But otherwise everything is super nice. :)

Great pizza, thanks again ... Very friendly service ... I went there because many colleagues eat there and were always very satisfied ... I will only eat my pizza there ... I can recommend it to others.

Pizza is tasty.

Unfortunately disappointing. The pizza order was unfortunately forgotten. Since it was probably close to the end of the day, the pizza box was put down after you hadn't even finished half the pizza, so please go. Pizza itself was only halfway through and not crispy. Never again!

Great cuisine

I'm "fixing" this review, becase it has been a while ago and I might not have been entirely fair originally. But the noise at this place was terrible. The loud music did not help either. No conversation possible. Out of frustration I gave them 1 star only. On the other hand, the food was great/ I hope the did something about the noise in the meantime ...

Food is fantastic. The only tiny minus point is that the restaurant is quite noisy. Staff however is super friendly. Definitely recommend a reservation here as it is always quite full.

If you're looking for an Italian, avoid this one and go to Ferrucci instead!

Great pizza (but not for American pizza lovers) it is thin but i liked it very much. The place has good and spacious seating area, indoors and outdoors. Prices are above average. Friendly staff.
